Princeton University was originally founded in 1746 as the College of New Jersey in Elizabeth, NJ, and was moved to the township of Princeton in 1756. This ivy league university educates approximately 4,600 undergraduates and 1,750 graduate students a year. Nassau Hall, the oldest university building
and an important site during the Revolutionary War, is open to the public.
